The Local Branch was established in 2009 by husband and wife duo, Mackenzie & Blaine Vossler. The artisan makers specialize in crafting their own leather goods and apparel, as well as showcasing a highly curated collection of other local, USA made goods as well as antiques from their travels. They run the business from their farmhouse in Upstate NY, and will soon be open for events such as weddings, farm to table suppers, and retreats at their Homestead. They sell their goods down the road from their home at their brick + mortar shop in the Finger Lakes town of Skaneateles, NY.
*Artisan Shops ship only within the US at this time.
Before opening their store, the pair renovated a mobile Airstream workshop and toured the country - making and selling their goods throughout the country at pop up shops, artists markets, music festivals and craft shows throughout America. Being on the forefront of the "tiny house" movement, the business was featured in HGTV's Tiny House Nation, CNN Money, TODAY.com, as well as design blogs such as Design*Sponge and Apartment Therapy. The Local Branch is also highlighted in print books, Living the Airstream Life andTiny House Living.
